QUETTA: In another incident of terrorist attack, at least 15 reportedly lost their lives while more than 20 seriously injured as blast hits a mosque in Quetta, Balochistan Home Minister Zia Langove confirmed.
DSP Amanullah also martyred in the deadly blast that took place in the evening. Following to the attack, the relief and rescue officials reached the spot and shifted the injured to a nearby hospital for immediate medical facility.
Moreover, the law enforcement agencies had cordoned off the entire area for further investigation.
Initial probe states that the attack is likely to be suicide blast that took place during Maghrib prayers.
Police officials told media persons that a month ago, son of martyred DSP Amanullah alos died in an incident of firing.
The deceased Amanullah was deployed at the Police Training College located on Saryab Road.
Director General ISPR, Major Gen Asif Ghafoor on Twitter handle quoted Chief of Army Staff General Qamar Javed Bajwa and wrote:
FC Bln troops reached Qta blast site. Area cordoned off. Joint search operation with police in progress.Injured being evacuated to hosp.
“Every possible assistance be given to police & civil administration. Those who targeted innocents in a mosque can never be true Muslim”, COAS.

Moreover, Balochistan Chief Minister Jam Kamal Khan and Governor Bizenjo also strongly deplored the incident and directed security agencies to take stringent measures for ensuring foolproof security to the citizens across the province.
