QUETTA: In another terrorist attack, two people were killed while more than 12 were injured in a blast near McConaghey Road in Quetta on Tuesday.
According to preliminary reports, in blast attack, explosive material was installed on a bike, which was detonated in the proximity of an law enforcement agency’s vehicle.
Subsequent to the blast, all the nearby shops were damaged including a motorcycle caught fire due to the explosion.
The local police and the rescue teams had cordoned off the area and further investigations are underway.
Chief Minister Balochistan, Jam Kamal strongly deplored the incident and said that extremists wants to destroy the peaceful environment of Quetta city and the entire province.
He also directed the concerned authorities to expedite patrolling in all areas for ensuring peace at every place.
Balochistan chief minister also condemned the attack and said that “We will not allow anyone to disturb the peace in the city.”
