ISLAMABAD: A mesmerizing evening was hosted by the British High Commissioner to Pakistan Thomas Drew for the Royal couple the ‘Duke and Duchess of Cambridge‘ Prince William and Kate Middleton in Islamabad yesterday.

An evening which was full of prominent political personalities and the celebrities from the entertainment industry exchanged their views with the Prince and Princess during a reception gathering at the Pakistan Monument.

Well-known Pakistani personalities from different fields were in attendance including Atif Aslam, Mahira Khan, Mehwish Hayat, Wasim Akram and wife Shaneira Akram, former prime minister Yusuf Raza Gilani and etc.

The Duchess of Cambridge Kate Middleton made the evening great with her soft spoken tone and smiling face the moment she appeared in a beautiful green dress stunning the entire audience.

Whereas Prince William was donned in a traditional sherwani suit.

Speaking at the gathering, Duke of Cambridge said that “Tonight I want to pay tribute to all those who have endured such sacrifice and helped to build the country that we see today.”

Kate and Prince William are on a five-day official visit to Pakistan.
