Magnitude 5.8 earthquake hits Islamabad, KP again

ISLAMABAD: Within 10 days, another strong earthquake jolted Islamabad and several parts of Khyber Pakhtunkhwa today morning.

According to details, the intensity of the quake was measured 5.8 on the Richter scale and The Koh-e-Hindukush mountains in Afghanistan were the epicenter of the quake.

As per media reports, tremors were felt in Islamabad, Rawalpindi and in many areas of the province of Khyber Pakhtunkhwa.

In KP, quake shocks were witnessed in Peshawar, Charsadda, Mardan, Waziristan, Malakand, Dir, Chitral, Mansehra, Nowshera etc.

Following to which the area people got baffled and immediately came out of their places.

Moreover, Provincial Disaster Management Authority official said that they are in contact with the district administration to collect details of any damage that may have occurred. Till now, no casualty has been reported.
