ISLAMABAD: Senior Leaders of Pakistan Muslim League-N, Maryam Nawaz and Shehbaz Sharif have requested the country’s top judiciary to declare the sentence of former premier Nawaz Sharif as null and void.
PML-N Vice President, Maryam Nawaz today on her official Twitter handle wrote “I humbly request to the highest judiciary to declare the sentence of former PM Nawaz as null and void and issue his release orders without any delay by giving justice to him.”
She also said in her tweet ” Now this matter does not stands limited to Nawaz Sharif. I am looking ahead towards court for justice and will be waiting for it.”

In another round of tweets, PML-N leader wrote: ” Thanks to Allah. But now the matter was not about the removal of any judge instead it is about suspending the verdict that was issued by the judge.”
“The matter is about removing the verdict from the record of the court, which this judge had given under pressure,” she added in her tweet.

In another series of tweets, Maryam said: “Following to the removal of the judge it is explicit now that the judiciary has accepted the truth and if this is so then how could that verdict tends to be continued which was given by that judge.”
جج کو فارغ کرنے کا واضح مطلب یہ ہے کہ معزز اعلیٰ عدلیہ نے حقائق کو تسلیم کر لیا ہے اگر ایسا ہی ہے تو وہ فیصلہ کیسے برقرا رکھا جا رہا ہے جو اس جج نے دیا ؟
