Pakistan extends airspace closure for Indian flights till July 12

KARACHI: The Civil Aviation Authority of Pakistan has said today that its airspace would remain close for 15 more days for all transit flights.

It must be mentioned here that Pakistan had earlier closed its airspace subsequent to the escalating tensions with India till June 28.

However, the airspace closure for over-flight and transit flights has now been extended till July 12.

With this decision of extension, Indian planes will not be permitted to use Pakistani airspace.

Country’s airspace will remain close for over-flight and transit flights till the issuance of new orders by the government, CAA official said.

 Moreover, the routine flight operations will continue on the Eastern and Western Air Side.
